Danielle McKinney Morning Glory
Happy Sunday Sug! I truly hope this week you were able to take a deep breath and exhale anything that has been trying to nestle into your spirit. <3
One of the absolute blessings of starting this platform is the exciting research I get to do! Every day I find a new artist whose work is STUNNING and my excitement to share with this building community can hardly be contained. My biggest goal with Sips on Sundays is not only community building but to be able to give a toast to the Black women artists/creatives of past and present whose work deserves such.
In doing that, I have decided to create SOS Sunday Muses: a weekly Sunday post that will feature a list of Black women artists who I feel deserve a toast! This will allow you to have a few artists to put on your radar this week + have a sneak peek as to which artists will be featured in the publication throughout the week.
This week I am featuring a few artists whose work has absolutely enraptured my being for some time now. Included are photos of the artists themselves, examples of their work and direct links to either their website or online bios (click on each name). I am thrilled to go into further depth of their journeys and current works <3 If you have any artists that you would like to be featured let me know!
